Jackfruit

Jackfruit of All Trades

Jackfruit knows no bounds when it comes to culinary creativity.  Full of texture and rich in protein, Jackfruit is a great substitute for shredded meat.  When you're done with your main dish, Jackfruit also makes a great dessert.

  2. We went to The Bean vegan restaurant in Charlotte a few weeks ago and my husband (a picky omnivore) got a crab cake sandwich made of jackfruit and it was amazing (I stole a bite). We loved it.
